Southern Grove Peanut Brittle Trail Mix
What it is
This is a sweet and crunchy snack mix featuring pieces of peanut brittle combined with other trail mix staples. The brittle provides a distinct caramelized sugar and roasted peanut flavor. It offers a satisfying crunch and a burst of sweetness that sets it apart from more savory trail mixes. The combination aims to deliver a delightful treat for those who enjoy a sweet element in their snacking.

- Pack for hiking trips.
Enjoy this trail mix straight from the bag as a convenient and satisfying snack. Its sweet and crunchy nature makes it a delightful pick-me-up during busy days or long journeys. You can also incorporate it into other culinary creations. Consider adding a handful to your morning yogurt for an unexpected textural contrast and a touch of sweetness. It can also be a fun topping for desserts like ice cream or a simple fruit salad, adding a delightful brittle element.
How it differs from similar foods
Unlike traditional trail mixes that focus on nuts, seeds, and dried fruit, this version incorporates the distinct sweetness and crunch of peanut brittle. The caramelized sugar coating on the peanuts and the brittle itself offer a more dessert-like flavor profile, making it a sweeter option compared to standard savory blends.
Who it is for
Anyone looking for a sweet and crunchy snack to enjoy during their day or while out and about will appreciate this trail mix.
How to keep the rest
To maintain its freshness and crunch, store any remaining trail mix in its original packaging or an airtight container. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. This will prevent the brittle from becoming sticky or the other components from becoming stale.
