Sanders Super Premium Blueberry Pie Fountain Ice Cream
What it is
This is a super premium ice cream with a rich, creamy texture. It features a distinct blueberry pie flavor, likely incorporating swirls of blueberry filling and possibly pieces of pie crust or a similar pastry element. The 'fountain' in the name suggests it's designed for a smooth, consistent pour, often associated with ice cream parlors or dessert shops. It aims to capture the essence of a classic blueberry pie in a frozen dessert format.
How people cook with it
This ice cream is perfect for enjoying on its own or as a base for more elaborate desserts.
- Scooped into bowls
- Topped with whipped cream
- Served alongside cookies
- Blended into milkshakes
Allow the ice cream to soften slightly at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping. This makes it easier to serve and enhances its creamy texture. It can be enjoyed directly from the container as a refreshing treat. For a more decadent experience, consider topping it with fresh berries, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, or a sprinkle of crumbled cookies. It also blends beautifully into thick, rich milkshakes, creating a delightful blueberry pie-flavored beverage.
How it differs from similar foods
Compared to standard blueberry ice cream, this super premium version likely boasts a higher fat content, leading to a smoother, denser texture. The inclusion of pie elements, such as fruit swirls or pastry bits, differentiates it from simpler fruit-flavored ice creams, offering a more complex flavor profile reminiscent of an actual pie.
Who it is for
This ice cream is for anyone who enjoys rich, flavorful frozen desserts and the taste of blueberry pie.
How to keep the rest
Keep this ice cream frozen at all times. For best results, store it in the original container with the lid tightly sealed. If you have leftover ice cream, press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface before replacing the lid to minimize ice crystal formation and maintain its quality.
