Mountain Peak Golden Tumeric
Mountain Peak Golden Tumeric Pumpkin Spice Latte
What it is
This is a pre-made beverage designed to capture the flavors of a pumpkin spice latte. It combines coffee with the warm spices typically associated with autumn, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, along with pumpkin puree and a touch of sweetness. The inclusion of turmeric adds a subtle earthy note and a golden hue, differentiating it from more traditional pumpkin spice drinks. It is ready to drink after minimal preparation.
How people cook with it
This beverage is perfect for a quick and convenient treat or a comforting pick-me-up. It can be enjoyed on its own or as a base for further customization.
- Morning coffee substitute
- Afternoon pick-me-up
- Dessert beverage
- Base for custom drinks
To enjoy this latte, simply heat it gently on the stovetop or in a microwave until it reaches your desired temperature. Avoid boiling, as this can alter the texture and flavor. For an extra special touch, you can top it with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg. It can also be served chilled over ice for a refreshing twist, especially during warmer days or when you want a lighter version of the classic fall drink.
How it differs from similar foods
The primary difference is the addition of turmeric. While traditional pumpkin spice lattes focus on coffee, pumpkin, and spices, this version incorporates turmeric for a unique flavor profile and color. This can offer a slightly different aromatic experience and a subtle warmth that complements the other spices.
Who it is for
This drink is for anyone who enjoys the flavors of pumpkin spice and coffee and seeks a convenient way to enjoy them at home.
