How people cook with it
These frozen ravioli are a versatile ingredient that can be prepared in minutes. They are perfect for weeknight dinners or when you need a fast meal solution.
- Quick weeknight dinner
- Simple lunch option
- Add to pasta salads
- Serve with your favorite sauce
To prepare, bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Carefully add the frozen ravioli, ensuring they do not stick together. Stir gently to prevent them from clinging to the bottom of the pot. Cook for the time indicated on the package, typically 5 to 7 minutes, or until the ravioli float to the surface and are tender. Drain them well. They can then be tossed with your preferred sauce, such as marinara, pesto, or a simple butter and sage sauce. Serve immediately.
How it differs from similar foods
Unlike fresh ravioli, these frozen ones offer extended shelf life and convenience. The inclusion of spinach and kale provides a distinct earthy flavor and color compared to plain cheese varieties. The organic certification highlights a commitment to farming practices without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.
