How it differs from similar foods
Compared to other gummy candies, these fruit snacks often emphasize fruit juice as a primary ingredient. The texture can be slightly softer and less intensely chewy than some gelatin-based candies. The flavor profile aims for a more natural fruit taste, though sweetness is still a prominent characteristic. They are typically found in the candy aisle rather than the baking section.
Who it is for
Children and adults who enjoy sweet, fruity confections often reach for these snacks.
How to keep the rest
To maintain freshness, store any unopened packages in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once a pouch is opened, it is best to consume the contents promptly. If you have a large quantity, ensure the storage area is not excessively humid, as this can affect the texture of the fruit snacks over time.
