Strawberry Vanilla Frappé Mix
What it is
This is a powdered mix designed to create a strawberry and vanilla flavored frozen beverage. It typically contains sweeteners, flavorings, and stabilizers to achieve a smooth, creamy texture when blended with ice and liquid. The combination of fruit and classic vanilla offers a familiar and appealing taste profile for a wide range of consumers. It is intended for quick preparation of a cold dessert drink.
How people cook with it
This mix is ideal for creating refreshing, sweet drinks at home. It can be customized with various additions to suit personal preferences.
- Blend with ice for a frosty drink
- Add milk for a creamier consistency
- Top with whipped cream
- Serve as a sweet treat
To prepare, combine the contents of the package with a specified amount of ice and your chosen liquid, such as milk or water, in a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and has a thick, slushy consistency. For a richer flavor and texture, you can use milk instead of water. Once blended, pour the frappé into a glass. It can be served immediately as a chilled beverage. For an extra touch, consider garnishing with whipped cream or a fresh strawberry.
How it differs from similar foods
Compared to making a frappé from scratch, this mix offers convenience and consistent flavor. It eliminates the need to measure multiple ingredients like ice cream, milk, and flavorings separately. The pre-portioned nature ensures a predictable outcome each time, simplifying the process for home baristas.
Who it is for

How to keep the rest
After opening, store any remaining mix in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. This will help maintain its freshness and prevent clumping. Ensure the container is sealed tightly to protect it from moisture and air, which can affect the texture and flavor of the final beverage. Proper storage ensures the mix remains usable for future preparations.
