Private Selection
Private Selection Vanilla Black Coffee Cold Brew Concentrate
What it is
This is a ready-to-use cold brew coffee concentrate infused with a subtle vanilla flavor. It is made from carefully selected coffee beans that have been steeped in cold water for an extended period, resulting in a smooth, less acidic coffee base. The vanilla essence adds a touch of sweetness and aroma without the need for added sugar or cream, offering a convenient way to enjoy a flavored coffee beverage at home.
How people cook with it
This concentrate is designed for quick and easy preparation of iced or hot coffee drinks. It provides a strong coffee flavor that can be customized to your liking.
- Iced coffee drinks
- Hot coffee beverages
- Coffee-based cocktails
- Dessert flavoring
To prepare, simply mix the cold brew concentrate with water or milk. A common ratio is one part concentrate to one part liquid, but you can adjust this to achieve your desired coffee strength. For an iced coffee, pour the mixture over ice. For a hot coffee, gently heat the diluted mixture. You can also add sweeteners, cream, or other flavorings to further personalize your drink. It's a versatile base for many coffee creations.
How it differs from similar foods
Unlike regular brewed coffee, cold brew concentrate is significantly less acidic and smoother due to the brewing process. The added vanilla flavor provides a distinct aromatic profile and a hint of sweetness that is not present in plain cold brew, making it a convenient shortcut for flavored coffee.
Who it is for
Home baristas and coffee lovers who appreciate a smooth, flavorful coffee experience without the time commitment of traditional brewing.
How to keep the rest
After opening, store the concentrate in its original container in the refrigerator. Keep the lid tightly sealed to preserve freshness and prevent any unwanted odors from being absorbed. It is best to consume within the recommended timeframe after opening, typically a few weeks, to ensure optimal flavor.
