Simply unwrap and enjoy the bold cinnamon and licorice flavor. For a more creative use, these twists can be chopped and added to cookies or brownies for an unexpected burst of spice and chewiness. They can also be melted down carefully to create a unique glaze or sauce for cakes and pastries. Consider breaking them into smaller pieces to decorate the top of ice cream sundaes or milkshakes. Their distinct flavor makes them a versatile ingredient for those who enjoy a sweet and spicy combination.
How it differs from similar foods
Unlike traditional black licorice, these twists feature a prominent cinnamon flavor that complements rather than overpowers the anise notes. The texture is similar to other chewy licorice candies, but the spice infusion provides a distinct sensory experience that sets it apart from plain varieties.
Who it is for
Anyone seeking a sweet and spicy candy experience will appreciate these cinnamon licorice twists.
How to keep the rest
To maintain freshness, store any remaining twists in their original wrappers or in an airtight container at room temperature. Keep them away from direct sunlight and excessive heat to prevent them from becoming sticky or losing their texture. Proper storage ensures they remain chewy and flavorful for future enjoyment.
