Big Spoon Roasters Chocolate Sea Salt Almond Butter
What it is
This is a jar of creamy almond butter blended with rich cocoa and a touch of sea salt. It is made from roasted almonds, providing a satisfying nutty flavor. The addition of chocolate creates a decadent taste, while the sea salt enhances the overall sweetness and complexity. It is a smooth spread that is ready to be enjoyed straight from the jar or incorporated into various dishes. The ingredients are carefully selected to create a balanced and delicious flavor profile.
How people cook with it
This almond butter is incredibly versatile in the kitchen. It can be used as a spread or an ingredient in both sweet and savory recipes.
- Spread on toast
- Drizzle over oatmeal
- Stir into smoothies
- Dip fruit
Open the jar and stir the contents to ensure the oil is well incorporated. Spread a generous amount on your favorite bread or toast for a quick and satisfying breakfast or snack. It can also be blended into smoothies to add a creamy texture and rich flavor. For a healthier treat, use it as a dip for apple slices or banana chunks. In baking, it can be incorporated into cookies, brownies, or energy balls to add a nutty chocolate note. It also works well in savory sauces for a unique twist.
How it differs from similar foods
Unlike plain almond butter, this version offers a distinct chocolate flavor profile. The addition of sea salt also elevates the taste, providing a delightful contrast to the sweetness of the chocolate and the natural nuttiness of the almonds. This makes it a more indulgent and complex option for those seeking a flavored nut butter.
Who it is for
Home cooks and snack enthusiasts who enjoy flavored nut butters will appreciate this product.
How to keep the rest
After opening, store the almond butter in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is not required, but it can help maintain freshness for longer. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent spoilage and preserve the flavor. Stirring may be necessary before each use as natural oils can separate.
