Private Selection Cherry Harvest Pancake Mix
What it is
This is a specially formulated mix designed to create fluffy pancakes with the delightful addition of dried cherries. It contains pre-measured dry ingredients, including flour, leavening agents, and sugar, along with pieces of dried cherry. The mix aims to simplify the pancake-making process, offering a convenient way to enjoy a breakfast treat with a fruity twist. The inclusion of cherries provides a burst of flavor and a pleasant chewiness within each pancake.
How people cook with it
This mix is perfect for a quick and easy breakfast or brunch. It can be used to make a delightful stack of pancakes with minimal effort.
- Breakfast pancakes
- Brunch treat
- Dessert pancakes
- Quick morning meal
To prepare the pancakes, simply combine the contents of the mix with the wet ingredients as instructed on the packaging, typically including milk or water and eggs. Whisk the batter until just combined, being careful not to overmix, which can result in tough pancakes. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the hot surface. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown and cooked through. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
How it differs from similar foods
Unlike plain pancake mixes, this Cherry Harvest variety incorporates dried cherries directly into the batter. This means you get pockets of cherry flavor and texture in every bite without needing to add fruit separately. It offers a pre-made convenience for those who enjoy fruit-infused pancakes.
Who it is for

How to keep the rest
After opening, store any remaining mix in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. This helps maintain the freshness of the ingredients and prevents moisture from affecting the leavening agents, ensuring good results for future batches.
