Carolina-Style Mustard BBQ Sauce
What it is
This is a tangy and flavorful barbecue sauce that originates from the Carolinas. It features a mustard base, giving it a distinct yellow hue and a zesty profile. To use this mustard barbecue sauce, you can apply it directly to food as a condiment. For a deeper flavor, consider using it as a marinade for pork, chicken, or even fish before grilling or roasting. It can also be brushed onto meats during the last few minutes of cooking to create a sticky, flavorful glaze. Some people enjoy mixing it into coleslaw for an extra zing or using it as a base for other sauces. Its bright flavor complements a wide range of dishes.
