Brach's Maple Nut Goodies
What it is
Brach's Maple Nut Goodies are a classic candy confection. They feature a chewy maple-flavored center coated in a crunchy candy shell. The combination of sweet maple and a satisfying crunch makes them a popular choice for candy lovers. These candies are often found in bulk bins or small bags, perfect for sharing or enjoying individually. They offer a distinct taste and texture that sets them apart from other candies.
How people cook with it
These candies are typically enjoyed as a sweet treat on their own. They can also be a fun addition to certain desserts.
- Enjoy as a sweet snack
- Add to candy dishes
- Incorporate into baked goods
- Use for party favors
Maple Nut Goodies are primarily eaten straight from the package as a standalone sweet. Their chewy interior and crisp shell provide a pleasant mouthfeel. For those who enjoy experimenting, they can be chopped and sprinkled over ice cream or yogurt for added texture and flavor. They can also be a component in homemade trail mix, offering a sweet counterpoint to nuts and dried fruits. Some bakers even crush them to use as a topping for cookies or cakes, infusing a maple nut essence into their creations.
How it differs from similar foods
Unlike hard candies, Maple Nut Goodies have a soft, chewy center that provides a different textural experience. They also differ from chocolate-covered nuts by featuring a distinct maple flavor and a candy shell rather than a chocolate coating. The combination of chewy and crunchy is a key characteristic.

How to keep the rest
